a little confession

 Remember how back in December I got a swanky new camera? Well I did. I got the canon 5D mark2. And I was over the moon excited about it. I couldn't wait for it to come in the mail. I had been using the canon EOS rebel T1i for the last few years and out grew it, for the main reason of my auto focus on my lens broke, and let me be frank, manually focusing EVERY photo is not much fun. So we decided to make the plunge and go big or go home, so we bought the mark2. My silly self thought it would't be that much different from my rebel, just bigger and take better pictures, boy was I wrong!

So here is where my confession comes in. I seriously have been scared to use that camera, no joke. My first few attempts to go out and shoot with it were unsuccessful and I was frustrated because I didn't know how to use it & change the settings as quickly as I did before. Iv'e had to ask a couple people for help, and that's helped me feel a little bit more comfortable with it. But to be honest I think i'm a film lover at heart, if it wasn't so expensive I think I would always shoot in film, i love to explore using toy cameras and vintage cameras. Well 5D canon mark2, I'm coming around in about a week when finals are over, you'll be seeing a lot of me this summer, and I think we will become good friends. Be excited for all the adventures we have coming up.

Sorry for the lack of posts lately. Can you tell it's about that time of the semester where classes are wrapping up and I have so much to do It's overwhelming...?
